A little intro...

I saw a magnet the other day with a picture of a trailer park on it reading “Do we ever question your lifestyle?". It made me had laugh as it was so fitting to the facial expressions that I have been getting recently when explaining that my boyfriend, my cousin, his girlfriend and I have bought a house together.

Located east in the Danforth area of Toronto, our detached 3 bedroom home is filled with plenty of unfortunate decorating decisions including teal carpet, papered walls and crystal chandeliers. In our hearts and our bank accounts, we believe that she’s a diamond in the rough and that we'll benefit from buying in the Toronto versus renting.

With an ensemble of characters including a mortgage broker, an insurance claims assistant, a carpenter and a marketing manager - we invite you to follow along with our blog and see if a couple of couples can survive living together under the same roof. Providing it doesn’t collapse in the meantime.
